  1. Do I need an online account to purchase items ?

    Yes, you need an online account to purchase items on this website. However, the process to create an account is quick and easy. Begin by clicking on the "Sign In" tab at the left of each page. This will take you to the account ‘Login' page. Once there, click the "Create Account" tab. Fill in all the required information and then click the "Continue" tab. Once completed, our website will recognize your registered email address. For future transactions, all you will have to do is enter your email address and your password.

    If you are a returning DSC Bowlers Pro Shop customer who has made an online purchase and has an existing account, all you will need to do is sign in your email address and password.

  2. How can I find the item I'm looking for?

    There are many of ways to find exactly the product(s) you're looking for. One way to find what you are looking for is to navigate by category. Just go to the left of the web page click on the category you are looking for. (ie: Bowling Bags). Next, choose from the list of manufacturers or click on the manufacturer and picture in the center of the web page.

    Another way to find your product is to use the Search feature, found on each page. You can search by keywords, such as "bowling shoes", or the name of the bowling shoe. The search will provide you with the best matches to your query.

  3. How do I place an online order?

    Ordering online is simple in our online store. First select the item you wish to purchase and click the "Buy Now" button. The product and its description will appear with available choices. Enter the number of items you wish to purchase and click the "Add to Cart" tab. This will put the desired item(s) into your shopping cart. If there are more items you would like to purchase click on the "Continue Shopping" tab.

    If you need to make a change to the quantities that you have in your basket, change the quantity number and then click "Update Cart" tab. If you decide you do not want an item in your shopping cast, click the "Remove" box next to the specific item and then click "Update Cart" tab. When you have all the items in your shopping cart that you wish to purchase, click the "Checkout" tab.

    At this time if you have not signed in to your account, we will ask you to do so. If you are a new customer, you can create an account at this time. Once you have signed in to your account, you enter the "Billing & Shipping" section.

    You have now entered the "Billing" and "Shipping" information section. Please fill out all required information and click "Continue" tab. Please verify that the quantities and items in the shopping cart are accurate and that your "Billing" and "Shipping" information is correct. If so, then click "Complete Checkout" tab.

  5. What forms of payment does DSC Bowlers Pro Shop accept?

    DSCBowlersProShop.com accepts a variety of online payment options. The following forms of payment are accepted:

  6. How can I start the “check out” process?
    Click on the arrow just to the right of "Shopping Cart" on the left side of any page or the "my cart" tab at the top right of any page to begin the process. Then, follow the prompts for checkout.

  7. How can I be certain that my order has been received?

    Upon completion of your order, DSCBowlersProShop.com will send you an order confirmation e-mail specifying the products and quantities ordered, shipping and sales taxes (if applicable), and shipping address to your designated email address. Please note that this can only occur if the email address you submitted upon registration is still active.

    Note: You can update your existing ship-to address specific to this order once you are in the shopping cart.

  8. Can I change my online order?
    If you need to make a change to an existing online order after submittal, please contact DSC Bowlers Pro Shop  by phone, 1-630-357-0423, fax, 1-630-357-0423 or email  us as soon as possible. Although we will try our best to accommodate your change, DSC Bowlers Pro Shop cannot guarantee that the order change can occur once it is submitted. Please include your name and order number.

  9. What are my shipping options?

    The majority of our orders are processed and shipped directly from our suppliers via UPS. You should expect to receive your order with one (1) to seven (7) business days. If you need your order expedited please call or email us.  If your order can be expedited, you can choose UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS 3 Day Select.

  10. Why has my order been delayed?
    Shipping delays may occur during busy holidays or the beginning of the fall bowling season. We will do our best to accommodate last-minute and expedited orders placed during these times. In general, online orders ship within 48 hours upon submittal. "Next Day Air", "2-Day Air", and "3-Day Select" deliveries are based on when orders leave DSC Bowlers Pro Shop. Orders must be placed by 11 a.m. (CST) Monday-Friday in order to be eligible for that day's "Next-Day Air", "2-Day Air", and "3-Day Select" shipments.

  11. Can I use my own FexEx or UPS account to ship my order?
    Sorry, but at this current time we cannot bill to other FedEx or UPS accounts.

  12. What is your return policy?
    Information concerning DSC Bowlers Pro Shop's return policy can be found by clicking the "Return/Exchange/Cancellation" tab in the Information Section on the left side of any page.

  13. Can DSC Bowlers Pro Shop drill my ball? 

    Yes, we are a full service pro shop and can certainly drill your ball. In order to do so you would need to either email or fax your specifications or ship a ball to us so we can take the specifications from it. The fees for drilling are as follows:
    • $28 fee for holes with no thumb slug and no finger inserts installed
    • $37 fee for holes with no thumb slug but finger inserts installed
    • $50 fee for holes with thumb slug installed and finger inserts installed.

  14. If I send in a ball is there any charge to get the ball back to me?


    If you make a bowling ball purchase and have the ball drilled by DSC Bowlers Pro Shop then there is no charge to get your original ball back to you.

  15. Can I request specific top weights and pin placements for bowling balls ?
    In the checkout process you may add comments and request specific specifications. DSC bowlers Pro Shop will attempt, but cannot guarantee, that specific ball specifications can be met.

  16. Will Sales Tax be applied to my order?
    Sales tax only applies to Illinios residences and only on merchandise, not on shipping costs. The current rate is 7.25%. If ordering from outside of Illinois but wish to have it shipped to an address in Illinois, sales tax will apply.
